81, passed away on October 9th. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Emile and Lillian (Benoit) Turgeon. Mr. Turgeon was a resident of Cumberland, RI. He was a 1955 graduate of East Senior High School in Pawtucket. He served 4 years in the US Army at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was an avid boater and lived for many years on his yacht. He was a lifetime member of the Pawtuxet Athletic Club. He was a professional singer and Elvis impersonator who performed all around New England. He was also a bodybuilder and former Mr. Rhode Island. He appeared as "Tug", one of the muscle men, in the 1964 movie Muscle Beach Party. He had been employed as a carpenter and later owned his own taxi cab business which he ran for over 40 years. His favorite pastime up until a few months ago was driving around in his yellow convertible Corvette.
Henry is survived by a sister, Rita Donnelly of Pawtucket, RI and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Cecile Sullivan and Raymond Turgeon.
