age 28 passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. He was born on July 14, 1989 in Providence, RI. He was the son of James Arnold Goddard Jr and Jeannie Wilson (Gonsalves), his step mother Melissa Goddard and step father Tyrone Wallace. His son James Arnold Goddard IV and loving mother Genita Rose.
James was a loving young man who was loved by many people. He liked to write poetry, tell jokes and would go to any length to make you laugh and smile. He worked as a laborer in Massachusetts with his dad and had aspirations to become a business owner. James also enjoyed spending quality time with his son, nieces and nephews who he adored. James was known to be a loyal protector, respectful to his elders and dedicated to his community.
Besides his parents, James leaves behind to cherish his memory his grandmothers Pearl Henderson and Mary Schenck, his grandfathers James Arnold Goddard Sr and Charles Henderson. His siblings Juan Wilson Jr, Eunique Wilson, Sharese Hall, Britney Wilson, Breanna Wilson, Sandra Holloway, Jason Goddard, step brother Robert Fortes and sister-in-law Tina Wilson. His nieces Gequajia Jones, Gianna Wilson, Surrayah Wilson, Na'Layah Wilson, Jo'Anelle Wilson and his nephews Juan Wilson III, Tyrique Wilson and Eugene Halloway. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. James leaves behind a very special Aunt who he trusted and loved dearly, Kizzy Davis.
A memorial, home going and celebration will be held on Wednesday November 8th at noon at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. Burial will be held at North Burial Ground Providence. Relatives and friends are invited.Viewing will be held wednesday morning from 10am until noon.
