44, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Angel was married to her childhood sweetheart and true love, Matthew W. Brown. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth A. (White) DiPippo and Thomas G. Trenn and the loving stepdaughter of Paul DiPippo.
Before her illness, Angel had worked for Brown University as the Director of After School Programs at the William D'Abate School in Providence, the East Side Y, and Speidel, Inc. She had also volunteered for Smithfield Vikings Cheerleaders, Girl Scouts of America and Denise's Dance School.
Angel was an amazing, giving person. She was straightforward, honest and incredibly loyal. She enjoyed karaoke and singing in general. She loved to dance and make cakes. She wasn't a great cook but she could make a mean crockpot meal. Angel liked to sew and would make Halloween costumes, costumes for her daughters dance recitals and crib sets. She enjoyed her annual family vacations to Hampton Beach. Angel loved her furry feline family members, too, especially Asti and Jimmy. But what she enjoyed most was her family. She loved everything her large group of family and friends brought - fun, silliness, goofiness and laughter. She loved being surrounded by the warmth of those she loved and loved her equally in return.
Angel adored her 3 daughters, Mattie E., Ysabella A., and Emily A. Brown of Smithfield. She is also survived by her loving sister and friend since birth, Christie Anna Spetrini of North Providence, her stepbrother, Paul D. DiPippo of East Providence, her nieces, Allison and Jenna Spetrini of Smithfield, Margaret Spetrini of Pawtucket, Anthony Spetrini of North Providence and her great-niece, Brielle Kennedy of Smithfield.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 12 - 3pm followed by a celebration of her life at 3pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial is private. Relatives and friends are invited. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
