95, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on November 19, 2017, after a very brief illness. He was the husband of the late Jeannette Barry, to whom he was married for 67 years.

Born in Pawtucket, RI to the late Phillip H. and Irene (Ostiguy) Barry, he was known to all as a mechanic, woodworker, builder, and fixer of most anything, and could be found in his garage doing something with his hands well into his nineties. He made his living as a mechanic, retiring from Pierce Chevrolet in the 1980s. He was as a medic in the 105 Station Hospital during World War II, serving in North Africa, Italy, Ft. Devins, MA, and Ft. Knox, KY. He was the recipient of the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon Good Conduct Medal in May of 1945.

Mr. Barry was well known and loved by all in the square dance and round dance community in Rhode Island.
He leaves his children, Donald Barry of N. Providence, Sheila Loureiro and her husband Albino of North Ft. Myers, FL, and Raymond Barry and his wife Leanne of Cumberland. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rebecca, Edward, Kimberly, Laura, Jason, Melinda,Phillip, Andrew, Isabel and Melissa, and his great-grandchildren Liam, Yana, Owen, Elise,Jackson, Jillian, Anthony, Edward, Adrian, Franchesca, Tiago and Johnathan. He was the father of the late Mark Barry, and brother to the late Phillip "Kenny" Barry.

His funeral will be held Saturday, November 25th at 8:45 am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Front St, Lincoln at 10am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
