Walter Chester Losiewicz was the eldest of two sons born to Chester and Rita Losiewicz on July 24, 1951, in Providence, RI.
Walter was preceded in death by his brother, James Losiewicz.

Walter was a graduate of Classical High School in Providence and the University of RI. He graduated from New England School of Law and practiced in Boston, MA, while performing as a professional dancer.

In the early 1980's, Walter moved to Los Angeles, California, where he worked for several law firms, eventually establishing his own successful practice in Beverly Hills. Walter was a member and former president of the Southern California Business Litigation Inn of Court, and served as a Judge Pro Tempore with the Los Angeles County Superior Court
He also taught paralegal studies and was a devoted mentor to many of his students. In fact, Walter guided several paralegals and law students into thriving careers due to his signature caring and nurturing attitude. As an attorney, he was well known for his self-less dedication and willingness to take on practically any case, in any arena.

Walter was married to Sunny Lee in April 1988 and they have remained lifelong friends. He was active in many other arenas including the Korean community where his efforts earned him a citation from the Korean National Assembly. With dancing as his first love, Walter also trained as an actor, and as "Walt Lawson" appeared in films and on stage in Southern California. His artistic career included productions with Nova and The Chandler Studio. He was a regular basketball player on Saturday mornings in Pacific Palisades with the "Boys of Saturday" He faithfully served on the board of the Beverly Hills YMCA.
As many will attest, Walter was a man of faith in its purest form, starting with his service as an alter boy in his youth. He served as Treasurer of The Emmanuel Prayer Center for nearly three decades. Walter lived a life of vigor, integrity, service, and brotherly love that knew no boundaries.
He entered into rest on Good Friday, April 2, 2010. Surviving to cherish precious memories are his mother Rita Dusza of Central Falls, RI, father Chester Losiewicz of Quincy, MA, step-brother Henry Barella, step-sister Stephanie Snow of Braintre, MA, godsons Andy Ha of Los Angeles and Maurice Lee of Las Vegas, and a host of family and friends near and far.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 15th, 2010 in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI
