was tragically taken from this world too soon at the age of 20 on November 25th. The son of Ana Monteiro and late Casimiro DeBarros, he was born and raised in Pawtucket, RI and graduated from Tolman High school. He was well-known for his love for boxing and being one of the region's best amateur boxers. Marcelino was a member of the Big Six Boxing Academy in Providence where he spent hours training to eventually go pro and mentoring young boxers. When he wasn't in the boxing gym, he was either working at Judge Rotenberg Educational Center, a special needs day and residential school located in Canton, MA or spending time with his loved ones. Marcelino was a great son, friend, brother, uncle, and nephew. He is survived by his siblings Vica, Kimberly, Bibica, Cacai, Kevin, Esmeraldo, Daniel, Jose, Tchichico, Dudu and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. His friends and family will always remember his smile, laughter, personality and his beautiful soul. He will be missed, but never forgotten because a great man is one who leaves others at a loss after he is gone.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 10am at Keefe Funeral Home, Please arrive by 9:30am, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Graveside burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 - 7 pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
