"Jill" 97, wife of the late John S. Rabczak of Washington Street passed Saturday at Miriam Hospital after a period of declining health. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Berube) Desjardins.
Jill was a member of the former Notre Dame Church,presently a member of Holy Spirit Parish, the Forand Manor Tenants Association and the Arc of Blackstone Valley. She loved spending time with her family and friends at Forand Manor.
She is survived by a son, Ronald J. Rabczak, his wife Diane of Lincoln, two daughters, Elaine A. Hogan and her husband Patrick of North Attleboro, Linda M. Rabczak of Central Falls, five grandchildren, Sean, Michael, and Patrick Hogan, Jeffrey, Adam and Craig Rabczak a nephew and several nieces. Jill was the sister of the late Leo and Roger Desjardins, Cecile Pelletier, Madeleine Mercier, Jeanne Desjardins.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, January 25th from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter Street, Central Falls at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4pm until 6 PM.
