(Boulais) 83, passed on March 10th surrounded by love. She was blissfully married for 62 years to Romain "Shorty" A. Berthelette.
Born in Pawtucket, where she was a lifelong resident, a daughter of the late Albert and Christina (Duffy) Boulais.
She had been employed as a pharmacy clerk at Breault's pharmacy, then National Drug Supply for many years, retiring in 1995.
Joan's true joys were her faith and spending time with her beloved Shorty and family.
She loved a good card game and enjoyed winning at her favorite slot machine.
She is also survived by four daughters, Donna Conners and her husband Michael, Deborah Brown, Doris Graybeal and her husband Jay, and Darlene Damiani and her husband Anthony, grandsons, John and James Graybeal, granddaughter, Katrina Damiani, and a great grandson, Luke Graybeal, a brother, William Boulais, a sister, Mary Incerpi and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Ernest, Normand and Albert Boulais, Rita Ireland, Dorothy Peltier, Edna Belanger and Theresa Boulais.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, March 15th at 8:45am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Front St, Lincoln at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm.
