86, passed on May 20th surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Dolores (Patenaude) Lavoie. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Jean B. and Elizabeth (Levasseur) Lavoie.
He was the proprietor of Hackers Pub of Central Falls for many years and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his children, Michael A. Lavoie and his wife Amy of Attleboro, Lisa A. Lavoie and her fiance Antonio Correia of Pawtucket, Gene D. Lavoie and his wife Donna of Attleboro, Lynn Boisclair and her husband Craig of Attleboro, Michele Brunelle of Lincoln and Wayne Riley, He was also survived a brother, Christian Lavoie of Long Island, NY, fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Normand Lavoie, Doris Beuhler, Lucille Lavoie and Louis Lavoie.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23rd at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 7 until 9pm. www.thekeefefuneralhome.com
