"Bob" to everyone, passed away peacefully in his home in North Providence at age 51 on May 20th, 2018. Bob was born in Providence to his late parents Denise and Robert James Degnan. He was agraduate of Lincoln High School. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for most of his career.

Bob was a dedicated father, a dear brother, and a beloved uncle. He is survived by his son, Robert Michael Degnan; his daughter, Alyssa Lynne Degnan; his sister, Kelley Dianne Paon and her husband, John; his brother, Douglas Lee Degnan and his wife Amy; 7 nieces and nephews; his cat, Splat!, and countless friends and neighbors.

Bob was a man with many interests. He was a lifelong drummer. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. He coached Rob's baseball team to a championship and echoed Alyssa's cheer-leading routines from the stands. He never missed a practice or a game. Bob could be found most days in his open garage or at his second home: his fishing rock in Lincoln Woods. He will be remembered for his sharp wit and candid nature.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln RI for viewing hours from 5pm to 8pm on this Thursday, May 24th, 2018. Burial will be at 10am Friday in the Chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave, Pawtucket RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate.
