"Vinny" 61, passed on June 8th surrounded by his loving family. Born in North Attleboro, he was a son of the late Arthur and Marilyn E. (Brown) Arruda.
He was a self-employed general contractor for many years. Vinny enjoyed and played various sports and was known as an exceptional catcher.
He is survived by his children, David, Shelly and Vinny Arruda, a brother, George Arruda, three sisters, Sharyon Morris, Maureen Souza and Patricia St. Pierre, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John Arruda.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 11th from 6pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Committal prayers will be held Tuesday at 10am in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curran Rd, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home Hospice & Palliative care of RI, 1085 N. Main St, Providence, RI 02904.
