"Dey" 77, passed on June 9th surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Casimiro Almeida. Born in Santo Antao, a daughter of the late Francisco Hermanegildo Pires and Gregoria Bernarda Pires.
She arrived in the United States in 1995 residing in Providence, then Pawtucket.
Besides her husband she is survived by six children, Benisa, Elsa, Monica, Magaly, Nelida and Silvino Lima., a sister, Luisa Delgado, nine grandchildren. Kelvin, Dalilah, Yasmine, Christian Filipe, Rhayana, Rodrigo, Mayra, Ohana and Kellen. Dey is also survived by several individuals who are what and where they are today because of her care and love.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 12th from 5pm until 8pm followed by a service at 8pm in the Keefe Funeral home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private in Sao Vicente.
