52, passed unexpectedly on July 15th. He was the husband of Linda (Frenier) Bannon. They celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in June. Born in Pawtucket, raised in Central Falls, he was the son of Patricia (Callahan) Bannon and the late William L. Bannon Sr. Bill had previously worked various positions in the Armed Car Industry, and was a Free Mason and a member of the Garfield Social Club. Besides his wife and his mother he is survived by his daughter, Brittney Bannon and her fiance, William Plouff.
His funeral will be held Thursday, July 19th at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm.
