91, passed peacefully July 26th at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Esperanza Gutierrez and his 9 children, Tarquinio, Rodrigo, Palmelida, Jaime, Hector, Doris, Rocio, Ivan, and Jairo; also his 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in Barranquilla, Colombia. He was predeceased by 4 brothers and a sister.
Mr. Gutierrez was a former fisherman in Colombia and worked at Hasbro, Inc. when he came to the U.S. up to his retirement.
Above all he loved spending time with his large family and his beloved wife.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, July 31st at 8am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dane Cemetery, Dagget Ave, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Monday from 6pm until 9am.
