78, passed on August 18th. He was the husband of Susan (Yelle) Dean and the late Betty Lou Thompson. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee a son of the late Charles and Juanita (Lavender) Dean.
He had been a self-employed mechanic for many years and served in the Army National Guard in 1957. Charles enjoyed playing with his puppy Susie.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Charles, Kenneth, James and Timothy Dean, a step-son Brian Yelle, a brother, George Dean, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his son, michael Dean and siblings, James Dean and Linda Isaak.
His funeral will be held Thursday, August 23rd at 9:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd, Cumberland at 11am. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm.
