passed at home at the age of 86 years on August 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Doris had a beautiful soul. Kind, thoughtful, selfless, and generous, she was loved by all who met her.
She will be lovingly remembered by Victor Turenne, her devoted husband of 66 years.
She leaves three daughters, Gloria Turenne, Therese Mitchell, and Linda Kenney, and two grandchildren, Zackary Mitchell and Tania Turenne.
Born on December 3, 1931, Doris was a lifelong resident of Central Falls, RI and a lifelong communicant of Holy Spirit Catholic Church (formerly St. Mathieu) in Central Falls.
Her funeral will begin on Monday, August 27th at 8:30 a.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Central Falls, RI. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Sunday August 26th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Lincoln, RI.
