69, passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2018 surrounded by family in Chicago. David was born in Koforidua, Ghana and came to the United States in 1987 for a better life. He worked at Texas Instrument for many years until he retired in 2003. During his life time, he worked hard to provide and care for his family. He also loved helping family and friends who needed any type of assistance. His family will forever remember him as the man with the golden heart and kind soul.
David is survived by his son, Derick Ofori, granddaughter Aubrey Ofori, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, September 1st at 9:30a.m. at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI, followed by a funeral service at 11a.m. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence.
