79, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness with her loving husband of 61 years Joseph J. Desjardin Sr. by her side on September 1, 2018. Doris is survived by her husband Joseph J. Desjardin Sr., her 8 children, Donna Desjardin, Joseph Desjardin Jr., Tina Soares and husband Louis Soares, John Desjardin and wife Denise, David Desjardin and wife Donna, Richard Desjardin and wife Helena, Pearl Gill, Dennis Desjardin and wife Lori. Doris is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her brother David Gauvin. She is the daughter of the late Janet Ducharme and sister of the late William Gauvin. Also survived by many extended family members.
Relatives and friends are invited attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 7th at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Pine St., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln.
