88, passed away peacefully with her family comforting her on September 8, 2018. Bea was born on April 25, 1930 in Warren, RI to Palmeda (Freitas) and Joseph Pimental. She resided in Lincoln, RI for 60 years in her hand fashioned home with her late husband Roy J. Roetzler.

Bea was a faithful communicant of St. Edward's Church and her quiet devotions continued at home with a very personal ecumenical outreach. Bea embraced life, her family and friends and always left an impression of her strength and resilience. Her personal touch and self-taught talents made her home always welcoming. Bea was an avid cook, seamstress, and her artistic designs were reflected in her home. Her hand-knitted blankets continue to comfort many loved ones across the country. Bea's humble existence touched her extended family of lifelong friends, caretakers and health professionals. A comforting role model and confidant, Bea's peaceful simplicity will endure forever.

Bea lost her caretaker and devoted husband Roy in February 2017. They married on April 11, 1953. She is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Roetzler, Donna L. Austin (Roetzler); four grandchildren Kelli L. (Chris) Robidou, Kyle S. Harris, Elwin F. Austin and Katelyn M. Austin; her great-granddaughter Sophia L. Robidou; nieces, nephews and many caring friends. Heartfelt appreciation is extended by Bea's family to The Holiday in Manville, RI for their compassion, tender care and respect during her brief residence.

Visitation is Wednesday, September 12 from 4-7 pm. Bea's funeral is at 11:30 am Thursday, September 13, preceded by a Christian service at 9:45 am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln.
