60, passed away peacefully on October 3rd at the Waterview Villa Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in East Providence after fighting a courageous battle with Glioblastoma just as the late Senator John McCain did, fighters until the end.
She was the beloved wife of Roger Keefe to whom she was wed on February 14th, 2003.
Born in Central Falls, RI she was a loving daughter of the late Norbert J. and Dorothy E. (Barker) Loiselle.
A dedicated, hardworking person, Betty Ann began working at the age of 14 and was formerly employed by Paramount Card of Central Falls, Tamarisk Assisted Living of Warwick, and Benchmark of Warwick.
Besides spending time with her family, she was an avid gardener. Betty Ann also loved her time spent at her home by the sea in Conimicut and had a special place in her heart for her dog, Angel, and her cat, Cuddles, to whom she affectionately referred to as "her kids".
In addition to her husband of over fifteen years, she is survived by her devoted children: Robert Monte and Lisa M. Monte-Brady.
She was the dear sister of Cathy, Sue, Bill and Bob and was the sister-in-law of Luz, stepmother of Roger Keefe Jr., Brian Todd Keefe. and the late Timothy Keefe.
As a proud grandmother, Betty Ann loved all of her cherished grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend visitation on SUNDAY, October 7th from 2pm until 4pm followed by a service at 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln,
Committal prayers will be held TUESDAY at 10am in the Chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
