passed away peacefully on October 4, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Sonia came to the United States in 1978. She worked at Hasbro for over 10 years then entered retirement to help care for her grandchildren. She was a caring woman who loved cooking, enjoyed being home and valued her family. Sonia was the wife of the late Candelario Alfredo Camacho with whom she enjoyed a marriage of 60 years. She is survived by her daughters Dennis Cuello and Lucero Camacho, her son Alfredo Camacho, 9 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held Tuesday, October 9th at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI from 5pm - 8pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 8:30am in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 69 Quincy Avenue, Pawtucket 02860. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery.
