104 passed on October 8th at Summit Commons Nursing home. surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Joao Jose Coelho and Maria Galvao Coelho.
She is survived by Julio Semedo, who she raised as her own from an infant and by many, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Maria was the last of six siblings, Virginia Tavares, Eugenia Depina, Adelina Fonseca, Carlota Galvao Coelho and Amelia de Burgo her twin with whom she resided her entire life.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 13th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. High St, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from5pm until 8pm.
