Idalina L. Vaz, 92, "Mai" passed on October 18th surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Sebastian Vaz.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde she was a daughter of the late Maria Livramento Da Luz and Armando Miranda.
Idalina enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Idalina was often referred to as “the life of the partyâ€.
She is survived by four children, Gabriel Vaz his wife Elcie, Serafim Vaz, Alcione Lopes her husband Humberto Silvio Lopes, Osvaldina Dos Santos her husband, Raimundo dos Santos,
Eighteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Adriano Vaz and Dulce-Nea Vaz
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated October 23rd at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Monday from 5pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
