91, passed on November 16th. He was the husband of Maria del Rosario Gutierrez. Born in Guatemala, a son of the late Francisco Vargas and Matilda Chacon Aceituno. He had been employed as a farmer for most of his life. He is survived by his children, Irma Lopez, Randolfo Vargas, Elda Fuentes, Ariel Vargas, Nery Vargas, Sonia Garcia, Manuel Vargas Jr, Doris Cruz, Lucy Vargas and Edgar Vargas. Visitation will be held Sunday November 18th from 6pm until 9pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Guatemala
