Francisco Oliveira, 99, of Pawtucket, passed into eternity surrounded by his loving family on January 27th. He leaves his beloved wife, Maria of 73 years. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, he came to Rhode Island and made his home in the City of Pawtucket for 59 years. A dedicated Factory worker Francisco worked for the American Insulated Wire Corporation for more than 20 years, finally retiring in 1987. He was a valued member of the Pawtucket Portuguese Community from which he will be sorely missed. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Prazeres Tavares, and Maria Machado, a son, Luis Oliveira all of Pawtucket, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln R.I. Thursday January 31, 2019, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Anthony Church, Lawn Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Internment services will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Prospect Street, Pawtucket, R.I. 02860. Relatives and Friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday 5 to 8 pm.
