David passed away on Sunday, January 20th, 2019. He was the son of the late Archie R. Johnson II and Carolyn F. Johnson Davis. He is survived by his long-time companion Greta Montgomery, as well as one daughter, Tené S. Husband Johnson; two sons, Victorio David Montgomery Johnson and David Victorio Montgomery Johnson; and one grandson Quandell Jackson.
In addition, David leaves behind twelve siblings: Robert M. Tavares; Carol-Ann M. Johnson; Carolyn E. Silva; Barbara A. Johnson; Patricia L. Johnson; Joy M. Sissoko; Mandy L. Johnson; Shaira Holley; Michael A. Johnson; Robert A. Johnson; Joey M. Johnson; Rahaman Holley. David was predeceased by four of his siblings: Leslie A. McClain; Archie R. Johnson III; Christopher J. Johnson; and, Mary V. Johnson.
A lifelong hippie, David loved music from a young age; he even bought records before he had a record player! David also liked to read, and was known for being fair to others. David was a wonderful father who was close to his own children and beloved by nieces and nephews. He is very much loved and will truly be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, February 2nd from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial is private.
