It is with great sadness that the family of Rosalba Durango announces her passing after health complications on Wednesday February 6th at the age of 78.
Rosalba was born on May 8, 1940 in Minas Berlin, Antioquia, Colombia. She is survived by her sister Ana Velasquez, husband Leonel Durango, son Wilfredo Durango, daughter Luz Marina Fontes, 10 grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed going to the casino, bingo nights and collecting elephant figurines wherever she traveled, she especially enjoyed cooking for her family and telling very animated stories. She had an infectious laugh, a big personality, and made friends everywhere she went.
Her family is comforted with the thought she will be joining her son, Julio Durango in heaven and looking down to watch over their loved ones.
A mass in her honor will be held on February 9, 2019 at 5:30pm, on St. Joseph's Holy Family Parish at 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
