Robert H. Morris Sr., 74, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 8, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Agin) Morris for 56 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Joseph Morris and Ruth King.
Robert was a Police Officer for the City of Pawtucket for 32 years, retiring as Commander, before serving two years as Chief of the Woonsocket Police Department. He was a history buff, an avid reader and enjoyed playing golf.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by his children, Patricia Mazza and husband Dominic Mazza of Seekonk, Linda Murray and husband Thomas Murray of North Smithfield, Robert Morris Jr. and wife Marissa Morris of North Providence, Deborah Tosone and husband Matthew Tosone of West Warwick; 8 grandchildren, Brendon, Jonathan, Samantha, Dominic, Cooper, Caitlin, Victoria and Dylan. He was the brother of the late Joseph Morris and Jeannie Gaynor.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, February, 14th from 9 - 11am at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial is private. In Lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of Nursing Placement 334 East Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
