Dwayne Mangum, 57, passed away at home on February 17, 2019. A son of Alfonzo Mangum of North Carolina and Narvis Mangum of South Carolina. Dwayne was raised on the East side of Providence but was known and loved by so many from all sides of town. On July 14th, 2001 Dwayne married Lenora Mangum, they remain married and together until his death. He worked for Al Sliny’s Auto Body and Paint Shop. He would later work for the family business, KJM Transportation along side his brother Kirk Mangum and father Al Mangum. Also had his own detailing business until he became ill. Dwayne had a passion for cars driving and riding.

He is survived by his wife, Lenora Mangum, his parents, Alfonzo and Narvis Mangum of Warwick, his son, Dwayne Mangum Jr, two daughters, Kimberly Narvis and Dwauna Janay Mangum, all from Providence brother Kirk Mangum of warwick RI. He is also survived by his niece Callie Mangum and Heather Buono, his sister in law, both of Warwick, RI. Dwayne also leaves behind four step daughters, Nikina Gonsalves, Andreca McBride, Tomesha McBride-Champlin, all from Providence, RI. Lacie Mangum-Hines of Duncan, OK. A step son, Lorne Neil Mangum-Hines of Duncan, OK. Eleven grandchildren, god-mother, Gwendolyn Purden of Woonsocket, RI, his mother of his children, Crystal Hines, as well as aunts, uncles, A huge amount of cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 1st from 12:30pm until 2pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm until 3pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial is private. Repass following services at American Legion, 2 Salmen St., Providence, RI.
