Regina Barbosa Goncalves, 54, passed on March 17th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a daughter of Joao Goncalves and Ida Barbosa.
She is survived by three children, Basilio Andrade, Artemiza Andrade and Avelino Andrade
all of Pawtucket, six grandchildren, Melanie, Nelvyn, Danilson, Heiliany, Dereck and Amaya. She is also survived by her twin Keta, other siblings , Anita, Joao Manel, Vinda, Pedro, Camilo, Fatima, Paula, Ze’, Angela and Lena. A special thank you from the family to Katia Goncalves for the special care she gave to their mom.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 22nd at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday from 5pm until 8pm.
