Jennie Galligan passed away on March 26, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late James F. Galligan and the daughter of the late Wilfred and Jennie (Dufresne) Trembly. Jennie was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She worked for Corning Glass Works in Central Falls until her retirement.
Jennie is survived by her loving family, her son James Jr. and wife Diane, Daughter Karen Mellen and son in-law Robert, Grandchildren: Christine and Jeff Santagate, Kathleen and Anthony Guilmette, Karen Galligan, Stephen and Christine Mellen, David and Ashley Mellen, Lauren Mellen, Great grand children: Owen and Grant Santagate, Austin Gadoury and Adeline Mellen, Brother: Walter Trembley and wife Carol, Life-long friend: Clara Anjos
Jennie was a strong woman who was fun loving. She had a great personality and Irish whit. She loved her family and her friends. She leaves many cousins and friends and will be sadly missed.
