After a long term illness Donna Romero (59) of Pawtucket was called home to be with the love of her life, her husband Carlos Romero. Donna was the daughter of Rose-Marie and the late Richard Bennett. She is survived by her daughters Stacia Bennett, Arianna Romero and Isabella Romero(Step-daughter) Sons: Jon Soares Jr., Joshua Ortiz-Fisher, Michael Benoit and Felipe Romero. Sisters: Gail Wilding, Debra Mal, Jodi Seth, Kelly Lavoie, Pamela Lopes and the late Rose Lewis. Brothers: David Bennett Sr., Richard Bennett Jr., Kevin Bennett and the late Donald (DJ Twin), Keith and Robert Bennett; and grandchildren Amaya and Bria Adams and Xavier Merisca. Although Donna spent many years as a homemaker she most recently explored a career in comedy, as a jokester, lovingly at her family's expense. Donna whom for many years seemed to have superhuman healing powers spent her ninth life doing what she loved most, which was traveling and bonding with her grandchildren. Donna was a kind, gentle and loving person who would open her home to anyone in need. In her healthier years you could often find her walking the streets in the Smith hill area of Providence while reading a good book. Most importantly she was loved and will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her. Please join us in celebrating her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, March 31st from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be on Monday, April 1st at 11:00 A.M. at Rhode Island Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. (Please meet in the parking lot inside the cemetery by 11:00 A.M.)
