Jovita M. Elderkin, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 29, 2019. She was the wife of the late Earl E. Elderkin. Born in Pittsburgh, PA she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia Espinosa.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda L. Perry; grandson Michael J. Scovel and wife Stephanie Lewis-Scovel; granddaughter Melissa A. Martin and husband Michael Martin; four great-grandchildren Andrea L. and Jacklyn N. Scovel and Matthew R. and Michael R. Martin; three siblings Robert Espinosa, Dolores Howell, Evelyn Sanders; four god-children Claire Newell, Lola Nardolillo, Frederick Francis, Theresa Espinosa Vilardofsky; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Joseph Espinosa, Beatrice Wilding and Earl Espinosa.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 3rd in St. Mary Church, Pine St., Pawtucket. Burial is private.
