Lloyd W. Jones Sr., 71, of Providence, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019. He was the husband of the late Vanessa M. (Washington) Jones. Born in Durham, North Carolina he was a son of the late Esque and Margie (Freeman) Jones.
He is survived by his son, Lloyd W. Jones Jr.; 5 grandchildren, Kyla and Keon Depina, Lynise and Naziell Jones, Denzel Flores; siblings, Carva, Rita, Steven and Russell Jones, Mickey Freeman; nieces and nephews, Edwin and Dakota Jones, Luwada Bell, HV and Stacia Jones, Esque and Eskia Holloway, Eskalina Johnson, Rochelle Gibbs, Janine Jett, Jay, Tara and Mickey Freeman.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 29th from 10:30a.m. - 12:00p.m. at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral service at 12:00p.m. Interment will follow in North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Ave., Providence.
