Jose P. Lopes, 92, passed on May 2, 2019. He was the husband of Alcinda Lopes. He was born in Brava, Cape Verde. Besides his wife he is survived by 15 children, Olavo Lopes, Maria Lopes, Carolina Lopes, Ilda da Rosa, Casimiro Lopes, Zilma Martins, Ester Lopes, Aduzinda Lopes, Artur Goncalves, Rita Goncalves, Carlos Lopes, Jose Lopes, Ana Lopes and Alberto Brito, 43 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, May 6th @10AM directly in Bethany Church of the Nazarene, 1275 Pawtucket Ave, Rumford, RI. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
