63, passed away August 19, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Paula Marie (Smith) Ashcraft, to whom he was married for 33 years.
Born in Providence, Paul was the son of the late OB and Mildred J. Ashcraft.
He had been employed as a maintenance worker for the East Providence School Department for many years retiring in 2003.
He was a Navy Veteran, having served aboard the USS GOODRICH DDR 831.
A loving father and grandfather, Paul is survived by his daughter, Colleen R. (Ashcraft) Smith and her husband Jim of East Providence, 4 grandchildren James, Joseph, Monica and Kyle, a brother, Lee Ashcraft, sister-in-law Jacqueline and nephew James all of North Attleboro.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3 to 6pm from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
