Carlos Dantas, 86, passed away surrounded by his family on June 23, 2019. Carlos was born in Brava on November 14, 1932. He is survived by his wife, Maria (Costa) Dantas, a daughter, Antoinette (Costa) Dantas, a grandson, Leonel Correia all of Pawtucket. Carlos lived and worked in Jersey City before retiring for 30 years and then moved to Pawtucket. Carlos is also survived by a sister, Maria Indiana Tavares and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. All services Thursday morning begins directly at the Church.
