Rita I. Lavergne, 97, of Warwick, formerly of Central Falls, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 11, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Lavergne. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Melanise (Viens) Thibeault.
She is survived by her children, Lenny Lavergne Jr., Lorraine Eaton, Richard Lavergne; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Normand Thibeault.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 14th at 10:30a.m. in St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held on Saturday beginning at 10:00a.m. at St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln.
