Maria. Alcantara, "Elena" 49, Passed peacefully on November 21st in a room full of unconditional love. She was the wife of Jorge O. Alcantara. Born in Guatemala, she was a daughter of Sergio A. Sagastume and the late Sara B. Vega.
Elena had been employed by Rich Paper LLC of Johnston since 1995. She was a devoted member of the First Church of God.
Besides her father and husband she is survived by children, Keiry Padilla, her husband Anthony J. Mancuso III, Kevin Alcantara, Fernando Alcantara and Emely Alcantara, grandchildren, Jazlene K. Padilla and Anthony J. Mancuso IV, three brothers, five sisters, brother and sister in laws, many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 24th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited.
Burial will be held Monday, November 25th at 10:00am in North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Ave., Providence. Those attending are to gather in the circular entrance to the cemetery starting at 9:30am.
