Robert G. Bonin, 83, passed on December 17th. He was the devoted loving husband of Rita (Ayotte) Bonin. They have been married for 52 years.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Leo and Clara (Nolin) Bonin. He was a lifelong Central Falls resident.
Robert had been employed by the former Gormans Bakery, then Nissans bakery for 37 years.
He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Robert was the father of David L. Bonin, his wife Wendy, Philip R. Bonin, his wife Heather, grandfather of Christopher D. Bonin and brother of Lorraine Wallace, husband Dr. Robert and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 27 at 9:30 in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St., Central Falls. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26th from 6pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
