Adelina H. Da Silva, 87, of East Providence, RI. passed away January 3rd, 2020 in Mount Saint Rita Health Center, Cumberland.
She was born in Brava, Cova de Juana, Cape Verde. She was the daughter of the late Henrique J. and Francisca J. Da Silva. She lived all her adult life in East Providence from 1967 to 2018 before moving to Mount St. Rita Nursing Home two years ago.
She is survived by a brother, Henry Silva of New Bedford, MA. She was the sister of the late Eugenia Andrade, Candida Barbosa, Michelena Da Graca, Maria Fernandes, Peter H. Da Silva, Joao, Jose, Julio and Manuel Da Silva. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7th from 5pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8.45 am from the funeral home with a mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Providence at 10am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
