Juventina R Leitao, 85, died peacefully on Sunday, January 5th at Summit Commons Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Brava, Cape Verde, a daughter of the late Joao R Leitao and Guilhermina P. (Araujo) Leitao. She was sister to the late Edeolinda Goncalves, Joaquin R. Leitao, and Edgar Leitao. She is survived by nephews, nieces, two sister-in-laws, and many cousins that are more like dear siblings. Juventina also left behind her God-son and God-daughter. She came to United States and settled in Cumberland, Brockton MA, and Pawtucket, RI.

She was employed by Monet Jewelry Manufacturing in Pawtucket, RI for many years and retired from there. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church in Providence, RI.
Juventina was known for her warm, attentive, and generous spirit. She was fiercely proud of her family, introducing them to all she met. She is dearly missed by her loving family. She was loved and adored by all in her community.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 12th from 5pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 13th at 10am in Mount Hope Community Baptist Church, 734 Hope Street, Providence. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
