Isabel Nunes Da Silva, 66, of Pawtucket, entered into eternity on January 14th, in Providence, RI. She was the devoted wife of the late Amadeu G. Da Silva. Born in Brava, Cape Verde a daughter of the late Domingos Nunes and Laura Silva Costa.
Isabel had been employed by New England Paper Tube company for 46 years before retiring.
She is survived by her loving children, son Claudino "Dino" Silva and his wife Lucia, daughters Jeanne Da Silva and Cidalia "Ziggy" Da Silva; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Laura G. Da Silva; sister of the late Eugenia Nunes, Jose Nunes, Lourenco Nunes and Dominga DaLomba.
Calling hours will be Thursday, January 23rd from 5:00 - 8:00p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Funeral services begin at 8:45a.m. on Friday, January 24th from Keefe Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. in St. Mary Church, Pine St., Pawtucket. Interment will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited.
