Victoria "Vicki" (Fayan) Prochniak, 86, passed away peacefully Friday morning at St. Antoine Residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard S. Prochniak.

Born on May 31, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George and Leona Fayan. She was a lifelong Central Falls resident before moving to Cumberland five years ago.

She is survived by two daughters AnnMarie Pise and her husband Ronald of North Smithfield and Barbara Mardo and her husband Charles of Cumberland. Her pride and joy were her five grandchildren Jason, Lynn, Kayla, Melanie and Kyle along with her great grandchildren Tyler, Hunter, Taylor, and Austin. She was the sister of Joseph Fayan, V. Edward Fayan, and Mary DiGregorio, as well as the late James Fayan, Michael Fayan, and Jeanette Rounds.

She was employed by Standard Romper Company (Health-Tex) for many years before becoming a homemaker after the birth of her children.

She was a parishioner of Saint Basil the Great Church where she was a member of the Altar Sodality and Senior Citizens Group. She was also part of the Aleppian Aid Society and Ladies Auxiliary.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Saint Basil the Great Church 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln, RI. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will also be held at the Church on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. followed by a burial at St. Basil Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care and Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island. Arrangements are by the Keefe Funeral Home, Lincoln, RI
