Albert Pinto, 88, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 27th. He was the beloved husband of Hilary (Weisman) Pinto for 48 years. Born in Cumberland, RI he was a son of the late Manuel and Adelaide (Fernandes) Pinto.
Albert worked as a foreman for Teknor Apex, retiring in 1994 at age 62. Horse racing was his life passion and he owned several horses for over 40 years. He was a humble, simple man who adored and loved his family and friends.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Deborah Pinto, Donna Pinto, with whom he resided with, Donald Pinto; two sisters, Otilia Barros, Clementina Mederios; two grandchildren, Nicolas and Di'onna Pinto; great grandson, Troy Pinto; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Hilda Wagner, Marie Robidou, Antonio Pinto and Lorraine Reis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd from 9:00 - 11:00a.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 11:00a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
