Maria Paula Medina Monteiro, 87, passed on February 8th surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Pedro Fonseca Monteiro. Born in Cabo Verde, Santo Antao, Cha Igreja.
She is survived by two sons; Pedro and Jose Monteiro, two daughters; Arminda and Sulemita Monteiro, ten grandchildren, Renato, Jailson, Americo, Joao, Airton, Andrea, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Derrick and Jennifer, Thirteen great grandchildren, Malik, Parisa, Skylar, Niziah, Kylie, Jaylene, Jazlynn, Jalen, Estella, Delaney, Dalilah, Janiyah, Jayla, She was the mother of the late Americo Monteiro and Edgar Monteiro.
Her funeral will be held Friday, February 14th at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave., Pawtucket, at 10am. Burial will be graveside in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8pm.
