Thomas P. Krause, 82, passed on February 8th with his loving family by his side. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Evald E. and Faith W.G. (Nelson) Krause.
He had been employed as a Truck Driver delivering beer and then was a school bus driver retiring to raise his five young children on his own. He was an Army Vietnam War Veteran, serving from 1955 until 1963.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Brower, four sons, Chad, Chris, Cory and Craig Krause, his step-children, David, Curtis and John Young and Alice Reynolds, six grandchildren, Alan, Jacob, Connor, Michael, Benjamin and Nora Krause, a brother, Richard Krause and several nieces and nephews. His family wishes to thank his sons’ future wife, Kendra McCusker, an amazing caregiver who made his transition to Heaven a beautiful time during his final months. Thomas was predeceased by two siblings, Arthur and Ernie Krause.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 15th from 12:00 - 2:00pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
