Robert Monastesse, 63, passed on February 26th. He was the son of the late Gerard J. Monastesse Sr and Jenny (Juczyk) Monastesse.
He was originally from Central Falls, residing in Pawtucket for the past ten years.
He is survived by four siblings, Gerard J. Monastesse Jr., his wife Sandra, Ronald Monastesse, his wife Gina, Patty Oliveira, her husband Victor and Jenny Hayhurst, her husband Paul, several nieces and nephews, Kyle and Aaron Monastesse, Chace and Cole Hayhurst, Tara and Rhett Monastesse and many close friends made over the course of his life.
He had been employed for many years at International Packing in Pawtucket, RI.
Bobby quietly gave back to others by donating blood and volunteering at the Lincoln SDA Church Soup Kitchen.
He enjoyed reading, hiking, fishing, playing cards and listening to his favorite baseball team, the NY Yankees on his transistor radio.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Bobby had a dry sense of humor and was quick with a one-line joke.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 29th from 1pm until 3pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers Bobby would hope that you do an unexpected act of kindness.
