He is survived by his children, Albertina Pires and Rute Pires of Cape Verde, Neida Pires and Napoleao Pires of Pawtucket, RI. He is also the stepfather of Jose Correia, Joao Correia and Virgina Correia of Pawtucket, RI. Besides his children he is also survived by his 11 grandchildren.
Napoleao came to America in 2014, then settled in Brockton, MA with Joaninha. He enjoyed working in Cape Verde in construction and masonry work. He loved the outdoors, going for walks, was a humble man who was loved and respected by all. Services are private.
