Joao L. DaRosa, 68, of Pawtucket, passed away on June 6, 2020 in Providence, RI. He was the husband of Ernestina (Cardoso) DaRosa. Born in Fogo, Cape Verde he was the son of the late Ana DaRosa.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, daughter: Ana Maria Lopes of Pawtucket, RI, son: Emanuel Carlos DaRosa of Pawtucket, RI, daughter: Teodora C DaRosa of Central Falls, RI, son: Emanuel C. DaRosa of Pawtucket, RI, son: Fransisco C. DaRosa of Pawtucket, RI, daughter: Claudia C. DaRosa of Pawtucket, RI; 19 grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a daughter: Angelina P. DaRosa.
Calling hours will be Friday, June 19th from 10:00 - 11:00am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 11:00am. Burial is private in North Burial Ground, Providence, RI.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Joao's service will limit the number of guests in the building at a time. For everyone's safety, all are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
